La gala 94° de los Oscar 2022 tuvo a Duna como una de las grandes ganadores de la noche. La cinta de obtuvo ocho estatuillas. La entrega de los premios fue presentada por Wanda Sykes, Amy Schumer y Regina Hall.
Además de los ganadores, la premiación contó con la participación de Sebastián Yatra que cantó la canción “Dos oruguitas” de la película “Encanto”. Pero, uno de los momentos más destacados de la noche de los fue el golpe que recibió Chris Rock de parte de Will Smith por haberse burlado de la cabeza rapada de su esposa, Jada Pinkett Smith.
